Stress, Balance, and Self-esteem
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to relieve stress and anxiety
Stress and anxiety management
I am an advanced CBT (Cognitive Behavioural) Therapist: if you are feeling stressed or anxious, I can help you learn about the roots of your anxiety and teach you how to view it in a way that makes sense to you. Together we can help you see your worries in a different way to feel less anxious, and discover the stress-management tools that work best for you.
I also use Solution-Focused strategies to help you see a future where you feel better, to help you find strengths you may have lost sight of, and to find what has worked for you in the past that we can bring forward to help you address challenges you are facing today.

Social interactions and self-esteem
If you feel lonely, or uncomfortable with others in your relationships or in social situations, I can help you feel more comfortable interacting with others, help you learn to express yourself effectively and assertively, and work with you to expand your social and support networks.
If your self-esteem is low and you’re feeling badly about yourself, life can be stressful. It can be challenging to stand up for yourself, have realistic expectations for yourself and others, and make decisions that work best for you.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy I can help you learn about the roots of your self-image and teach you how to see yourself in a different light that takes into account both your strengths and challenges. Together we can help you feel better about yourself, interact with others more confidently, and learn to assert yourself so that you can draw healthy boundaries.
Life balance
If you’re feeling pushed or unable to find balance between different areas of your life, I can help you learn to set boundaries and restructure your time so that you not only achieve what is most important to you, but also have some fun while you’re doing it!
Self and parts work
I also bring a Self and Parts (IFS, Internal Family Systems) lens to my work, which makes intuitive sense to many clients, especially when feeling stuck or ambivalent despite hard work. IFS integrates well with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, while providing a more organic way of navigating concerns for clients who find the structure of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy doesn’t suit them.
Here when you’re ready
Everyone’s experience of stress, anxiety, and self-esteem is unique, and I welcome and celebrate the diversity of what my clients bring to our work.
I will help you explore your concerns in a confidential, safe, affirming and anti-oppressive environment where we take into account all aspects of your life, including your relationships, culture, family, and spirituality
