About me
Supporting individuals and relationships with thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Who I Am
I am a Registered Psychotherapist, registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor, certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I have a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Brtish Columbia. My work is inclusive and informed by anti-oppression training.

Background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
I am a Founding Member of the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. I have an Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre / University of Toronto, and extensive continuing education in evolving Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. I have assisted in teaching Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and theory to clinicians in Toronto and evaluated empathy skills of University of Toronto Law Students for national competitions.
Background in LGBTQ issues
I am a longstanding gay, genderqueer member of the 2SLGBTQQAI+ community. I have extensive experience working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning and asexual folk, and I regularly consult with other 2SLGBTQQAI+ psychotherapists about 2SLGBTQQAI+-specific concerns. I have previously worked with diverse students in a University setting, gay, bisexual and trans youth in group counselling, and lesbian, gay and bisexual adults at community agencies. My past experience also includes facilitation of a gay men’s education and networking group, providing safer-sex outreach and education through an HIV/AIDS Service Organization during the AIDS crisis, and training volunteers for HIV/AIDS-related service work.
